IUE® TREND for MetersA full metering application for individual buildings or portfoliosEnterprise-wide energy management begins with connectivity and data flow. IUE Trend provides this basis through a single gateway to your building meter. This non-intrusive and secure connection allows IUE Trend to be easily integrated for transport of any system protocol because the data is ultimately transferred as standard packets of BACnet or XML. Though it is the most basic part of the IUE System, this underlying tool delivers many functional advantages such as monitoring, trending, alarming, graphing, and analysis. This offering is based on a combination of the hardware (the web-i or another gateway) plus IUE hardware for trending (server-side). This opens the door to all other IUE products. IUE Trend for meters starts by connecting meters via the Internet to a real-time database. Once the meters are connected, they can be graphed. Users can selected any parameter that has been mapped, such as kw, kwh, kvar etc (fig 1). The selected parameters can be viewed as a line graph (fig 2) or as a calendar chart (fig 3). IUE Trend allows pinpointing the maximum, the minimum, the average and the delta for any parameter (fig 4). IUE Trend also allows comparing two or more meters (fig 5). Once the parameters have been selected, users can choose again between line and calendar charts (fig 6). Users can zoom and scroll in the line graph views (fig 7) to analyze peaks, understand gaps, and perform other analytic functions. To analyze metering data even further, users can view aggregation of meters. If a building has more than one meter, IUE automatically shows an aggregate building meter (fig 8) and even an aggregate meter for the portfolio of buildings (fig 9). These aggregate meters can also be viewed as line graphs or as calendar graphs (fig 10). In ad |
